The speech of the celestial angels abounds in the vowels A (ah, as in father), and U (as u in rule). One may often determine from the Hebrew vowels in a passage which words belong to the class of celestials and which to the spirituals — i.e., whether they involve good or truth. The former use more frequently the sounds of O and U, for they have a full tone, and also occur oftener in the Third Heaven. Heaven and Hell #242
242. There is a certain concord in angelic speech that is indescribable. 1 This concord stems from the fact that the thoughts and affections that give rise to speech flow forth and spread out in keeping with heaven's form, heaven's form being what determines how everyone there associates and communicates. (See above, 200-212, on the way heaven's form determines how angels associate and the flow of their thoughts and affections.)
फुटनोट:
1. [Swedenborg's footnote] In angelic speech there is a harmonic, descending concord: 1648-1649, 7191.
